Proses i\u00e7indeki kimyasallar, bu tip sens\u00f6r\u00fcn \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131 ve referans yar\u0131m h\u00fccre i\u00e7indeki Ag\/AgCl elektrotunu zehirlemesi i\u00e7in gerekli olan yerle\u015fik g\u00f6zenekli\/a\u00e7\u0131k ba\u011flant\u0131(lar) arac\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131yla yay\u0131l\u0131r. Referans elektrotunun zehirlenmesi, ciddi \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcm performans\u0131 sorunlar\u0131na ve sens\u00f6r\u00fcn erken \u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcne yol a\u00e7ar. S\u0131k de\u011fi\u015ftirmeden kaynaklanan y\u00fcksek masraf\u0131n yan\u0131 s\u0131ra<br>Bu ar\u0131zal\u0131 sens\u00f6rlerin yan\u0131 s\u0131ra, y\u00fcksek d\u00fczeyde kirlenmi\u015f olabilecek sens\u00f6rlerin g\u00fcvenli bir \u015fekilde [ve yasal olarak] ele al\u0131nmas\u0131 ve bertaraf edilmesinin maliyeti de vard\u0131r. T\u00fcm Refex sens\u00f6rleri, g\u00f6zenekli ba\u011flant\u0131s\u0131 olmayan bir referans h\u00fccresi kullan\u0131r, bu nedenle kimyasallar, biyolojik maddeler ve radyoaktif maddeler gibi tehlikeli maddelerin giri\u015fi engellenir. G\u00f6zenekli bir ba\u011flant\u0131 yerine, Refex sens\u00f6rleri, s\u00fcreci referans elektrota ba\u011flamak i\u00e7in patentli iyonik iletken bir aray\u00fcz bariyeri kullan\u0131r. Bu bariyer, proses s\u0131v\u0131s\u0131 ile referans yar\u0131m h\u00fccre elektroliti aras\u0131ndaki t\u00fcm temas\u0131 engeller. Refex sens\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcn herhangi bir tehlikeli madde ile dahili olarak kirlenmesi riski yoktur.<br>Refex pH ve ORP sens\u00f6rleri, toksik kimyasallar, biyolojik ajanlar veya radyoaktif materyaller i\u00e7erenler gibi zorlu uygulamalarda, t\u00fckendikten sonra ek bir endi\u015fe ve g\u00fcvenli imha masraf\u0131 olmadan g\u00fcvenle kullan\u0131labilir.
